During the period we have been letting the cottage there have been a number of guests who have rented the cottage to invite their families or friends for a weekend or few days to celebrate special birthdays. So far we have had celebrations of 40th, 50th, 60th and 80th birthdays at the cottage! It also seems to be a popular venue for parties attending weddings nearby. By renting Easterleigh cottage they have significantly reduced their costs compared with hotels, but have asked if anyone is available to cook the special celebration meal for the occasion that is being marked. There is an excellent restaurant in the local pub only a few minutes' walk away, but they have wanted a private celebration in the cottage itself.

We can now offer the services of Mark Stone. He is a highly experienced professional chef who specialises in using local produce. A couple of guests have used him and been delighted with the result. Normally bringing a chef to your own house is prohibitively expensive. He is very reasonably priced and well within most people's budget. He will design a meal with you, using the appropriate cuisine, to get you just what you want.
